There are several Home Groups who meet for Bible teaching, prayer, support and fellowship every week. Home Group 'courses' are held during the period of Lent and there are other groups associated with Alpha and New Christians Courses when these are being held. The principle in this parish has been "every member ministry" for some years. |

A group of mothers with small children meet each week in St. Peter's Hall and many attend a special service once a month in the church, often accompanied by their husbands. Mrs. Sandra Baines, one of the organisers says: "We meet in St Peter's Hall on a Tuesday afternoon, between 1.30pm and 3.00pm, and offer a welcome to any pre-school child and their carer." "The group is run by members of the church and we aim to provide a safe environment for the child to play in, whilst the carer gets a chance to meet others with children of a similar age. There is an active group of men, some from the congregations,
some partners of members of the congregations and some friends, who meet weekly
in the local Conservative Club. ![]() A Christmas Dinner is held every year, funded by weekly levy, and throughout the year activities such as barbecues and snooker tournaments are held. Contact 2 |

The Missionary Team are responsible for 'placing' the church's
missionary fund. This fund is created by the tithing of the Parish income. |

Several groups meet together weekly for prayer both in private houses and in the churches. A Ladies prayer group meets specifically to pray for concerns within the parish and its churches. |

Prayer Chain, Mothers Union, Rainbows, Girl Guides, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, the Royal Artillery Association, etc. |
